West FROM: RIG/Manila, Paul E. Armstrong /s/ SUBJECT: Audit of USAID/Bangladesh's Child Survival Activities, Report No. 5-388-01-001-P This is our final report on the subject audit. We reviewed your comments to the draft report, made some revisions based on them and included the comments in their entirety as Appendix II. This report contains five recommendations addressed to USAID/Bangladesh. Based on your comments to the draft report, Recommendation Nos. 4.1 and 5 are closed upon issuance of this report. Recommendation Nos. 1, 3 and 4.2 have had a management decision and may be closed when the cognizant responding office provides evidence to USAID’s Office of Management Planning and Innovation that it has implemented its planned actions. A management decision is pending on Recommendation No. 2 until there is a clear agreement on the planned course of action. Please advise us within 30 days on any actions planned or taken to implement Recommendation No. 2. I appreciate the cooperation and courtesies extended to my staff during the audit.
