There is no question here of "challenge" in any manner whatsoever, the exciting work of Ricoeur on psychoanalysis and Freud's work, whether it's reading or interpretation. But it comes back to what may mani ¬ fester heterogeneity between psychoanalysis and philosophy, about two concepts at work in the philosophy of Ricoeur: interpretation and identity narra ¬ tive.
