The Adventures of Giorgina the Cat, bd

Through the window came the pleasant scent of the countryside. There was neither a breath of wind nor the rustling of leaves. Nothing broke the silence of the evening except for the croaking of the frogs in a distant pond. I dawdled to look out in the darkness in the tranquillity; not far away, a young cat was sneaking recklessly into the traffic on the provincial roads. Through the gardens, through the houses and through the darkness, until she reached me. Finally, after such a long time, the cat Giorgina had found me again. She was buzzing like a dynamo that never stops. She was buzzing with happiness. I was also very happy to see her again and to hear the new story that she had to tell me: a flat in the city and a very distracted family… A shout in the night! A call for help from the top of the stairs, from that palace of distracted people. A mystery was awaiting upstairs…
